The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brings you in, your goals for therapy, and any questions you might have. I will also share information about the therapy process. There is no need to prepare anything and no pressure to share everything right away — just come as you are. We’ll go at your pace, and you’re welcome to ask any questions as we get to know each other.

That really depends on your goals and what you’d like to work on. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others choose to stay longer for deeper exploration and healing. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy is working for you.
-
Both! I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy sessions through Therapy Notes which allows you to attend your sessions with comfort and flexibility. I also see individuals in person at 1861 N Rock Road in Wichita, KS. You can choose the method that you are most comfortable with.

Yes. Your privacy is very important to me. What you share in therapy stays between us, with a few exceptions for safety reasons, which I’ll explain clearly during our first meeting. My goal is always to create a space where you feel safe and respected.

You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, hurting, or simply curious about your emotions and patterns, therapy can be a supportive and meaningful space to sort through it all — you don’t have to do it alone.

I am in-network with United Healthcare, UMR and Optum insurance plans and I am in the process of getting in-network with additional insurance plans. For all other insurance plans, I am considered out-of-network, and direct pay. However, I can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement. I’m happy to walk you through what that might look like and help you explore your options to make therapy affordable.

That’s completely valid, and I welcome those concerns. It’s okay to feel cautious — we can take things slowly and check in often. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and centered on what works best for you.

Anything that’s on your mind is welcome here — whether it's anxiety, trauma, grief, relationships, self-worth, or simply feeling off and not knowing why. We will work together on establishing goals and check in on goals often, but you don’t need to have it all figured out before coming in. We’ll make sense of it together.
-
Yes, absolutely. Therapy is your space and your choice. If you ever feel like you need a break or are ready to end, I’ll support you in that. When possible, I recommend having a final session to reflect and close our work together thoughtfully.
